Working principle of high pressure solenoid valve:

Normally closed: When the coil is energized, the electromagnet core pulls in, the pressure relief hole opens, and the main piston is pushed by the medium pressure to open the main valve port and the medium flows. When the coil is de-energized, the main valve port is closed and the medium is cut off.

Normally open: When the coil is energized, the electromagnet core pulls in, the pressure relief hole is closed, and the main piston is pushed by the medium pressure. When the coil is de-energized, the main valve port opens and the medium flows. Electric Actuator

Note: When the outlet pressure is greater than the inlet pressure, the medium will conduct reversely. Can install check valve or order solenoid valve with check function.
